Sugar for Your Tea is a worldbuilding project that showcases an imaginary world, built and run on sugar.
I created a miniature, sugar-cube-dependent world using various simple electronics. The world has a working train, working lights, and is entirely constructed of sugar cubes and PVA glue.

Framing the City focuses on transforming data into a visual sculpture, within the context of the observations.
Over the course of 4 weeks, I analyzed traffic patterns outside my bedroom window and translated the collected data into a miniature 3d sculpture.
Using Arduino linked to an LCD screen, I coded various circles moving across the screen to symbolize any activity moving past my window. Depending on the day of the week and the time, the activity on the screen will differ depending on what my data has determined is “usual”.
The screen is displayed as a miniature window in a simple room diorama, furnished with a bed.
